Ella Hnatyshyn
Ella has been in the triathlon world for 12 years, starting as a junior elite athlete with Kronos in 2012. She eventually transitioned to racing at an elite level, including in multiple continental cups, and has been racing pro Ironman 70.3s for the past two years. She also spent two years racing varsity cross country and track with the University of Calgary, during which time she qualified for cross country nationals.
Ella is thrilled to begin her triathlon coaching career and hopes to pass on some of the lessons she has learned over the years. She continues to train and race at an elite level and also works full time as the Operations Director at Feisty Media, a women’s sports media organization.

A gel for before the start! (Is that lame?). My favourite thing to get after a race is Chipotle, if that counts as a snack.
