FALL, WINTER, SPRING and SUMMER YOUTH PROGRAM |10 - 13 YEARS
Welcome to the seasonal programs for youth at Kronos Triathlon Club for the 2024/2025 season! Our seasonal programs are meticulously designed to support young athletes in developing physical literacy through swimming, cycling, and running. Each season offers unique opportunities for growth and learning, tailored to encourage an active lifestyle and boost confidence in athletic abilities.
WHO IS THE PROGRAM FOR
These programs are ideal for young athletes seeking to enhance their skills in triathlon disciplines seasonally. Our training methods are age-appropriate and aimed at gradually building the athletic capabilities of each participant.
PREREQUISITES
General: Athletes require a swimsuit, goggles, and a swim cap.
Spring and Summer: A helmet and a bike in good working condition are also needed.
Fall and Winter: Bikes are not required.
PROGRAM DATES
Fall Youth Program: October 20, 2024 – December 22, 2024
Winter Youth Program: January 12, 2025 – April 27, 2025
Spring Youth Program: May 4, 2025 – June 29, 2025
Summer Youth Program: Dates in July (specific end date to be confirmed)

Fall & Winter Schedule:
Tuesday: Physical Literacy Games and Drills 5:30-7:00PM @ MNP
Thursday: Combined Swim & Indoor Bike 5:30-7:00PM @ MNP
Sunday: Combined Run & Swim 3:45-6:00PM @ MNP
Spring & Summer Schedule:
Tuesday: Outdoor Bike and Run 5:30-8:00PM @ North Glenmore Park Lot B
Thursday: Outdoor Run and Indoor Swim 5:00-7:00PM @ MNP
Sunday: Outdoor Run and Indoor Swim 3:30-5:45 @ MNP
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
Enrollment is open for young athletes who meet the equipment requirements and are eager to participate in structured, seasonal training sessions.

Fall and Winter: Focus on building endurance and technical skills in swimming, alongside introductory sessions for cycling and running.
Spring and Summer: Emphasis on outdoor activities, allowing athletes to apply their skills in real-world settings, enhancing their proficiency in cycling and running while continuing to develop swimming techniques.
